May 17th-19th, 2019
The “Weekend of Hope” is to raise much needed funds for Youth World Education Project, a nonprofit 501(c)3 Chandler, Arizona based organization. This weekend of events are used to increase visibility and bring awareness to the amazing work we do for youth and families in Arizona. Funds raised help to support our year round youth development initiatives and further our mission to bridge the gap between parental involvement, education, and workforce development.
The Weekend of Hope consists of two fun days of events which leads up to our main event on Sunday, May 19, 2019, the “Teen Circle Summit: Discover the Leader in YOU, to impact, empower, and educate the youth of Maricopa County. Friday, May 17th, 2019 is the “Harlem Nights” and Saturday, May 18, 2019 is the “Dance With My Father: Celebrating My First Love” gala
Youth World Education Project has partnered with the Road to 777 to raise funds for the “Weekend of Hope” events. The Road to 777 ™ recognizes that raising funds is necessary to solve the problems that affect OUR communities. They promote charitable giving through events and donor drives for 7 organizations with a goal is to raise at least $777,777 to be shared by 7 charities that have a positive impact to our families and communities both locally and beyond. The Road to 777™ has designs an entire charity promotion campaign (e.g., social media, web presence, charity events, celebrity guest, and increased exposure) to empower charities with the financial support and market exposure necessary for success. They enhance the chosen charities ability to serve their communities by supporting funding efforts with the art of giving. The drive for needed support in charities is critical. Charitable service to The Road to 777™ is a true “win win”- the community wins, charities win, and the individuals impacted win. We humbly thank Duane Bluestein of Road to 777 for choosing to support Youth World Education Project and hosting our Weekend of Hope.A portion of our raised proceeds will go to the Kwamie Lassiter Foundation.
